CLINTON RIVER AND METRO BEACH WETLANDS is a virtual museum class project developed by 4th grade
teacher, Mrs. Brenda Sikora, and her students. The site features photos of a trip to the Clinton River
and Metropolitan Beach wetlands along with post-trip activities and resources for further information
about endangered animals and plants. The Student Journal Entries section reflects critical thinking and writing activities students completed following their trip.
Mrs. Sikora's site illustrates how technology can integrate into classroom content, extending students' learning and thinking. I'm honored
to work with her in the Grosse Pointe Public School System.
Rating:Wondrous activities and resources for an endangered species unit.
