Frontier Forts in the American Revolution

A product of TeachersFirst, Frontier Forts in the American Revolution is an online resource for learning more about life in forts during the late 1700s. Sections of the site include The Fort, Soldiers, Daily Life, Games, and Teachers.

Appropriate for elementary and middle school students, the site is also useful for genealogy and history buffs who will enjoy viewing the detailed pictures. Accompanying informational text and easy navigation make the site especially appealing.

Rating: An interesting tour of a typical 1700s fort.
