The Man - The Mahatma

A ThinkQuest '99 finalist, The Man - The Mahatma, tells the story of the man behind India's independence, offering insight into his life, and explaining his acts, his works, and his mind.

The site is replete with information on Gandhi's life history, his ideals and influences, and his untimely death. There is also information about his assassin as well as quotations, a Media Gallery, Online Quizzes, and a Links Database. RealAudio chants and current information on the Indian National Congress round out the site.

Rating: A well-researched and fascinating look at Gandhi.
