PLANO, Tx., March 6, 1996 - InfoMedia, a leading internet content provider, today announced the launch of a new interactive web game, Name That Song! Modeled after popular radio contests, Name That Song is a fun and challenging game available to PC, Macintosh, and NeXT/Sun users of the Internet's World Wide Web. Name that Song is found at http://www.worldvillage.com/wv/cafe/Song/Song.htm
InfoMedia's President, Joel Comm said, "Web users are looking for fun things to do that don't eat up their online time. Name That Song is a fun contest to enter each week. It only takes a few minutes to play, and there are guaranteed prizes."
Contestants to Name That Song are presented with five new audio clips every Friday. By selecting their platform of choice, the audio clip, which averages one second, is played on their computer. They are then presented with a form where they may guess the song and the artist. A weekly winner will be awarded a software prize.
