PLANO, TX, July 22, 1996 - InfoMedia, Inc. and Broderbund Software, Inc. today announced "The MYST Trivia Challenge", a 50 question quiz launching on InfoMedia's popular WorldVillage world wide web site on August 1, 1996. The contest will offer over 50 prizes to contestants, with first prize being a special copy of the upcoming sequel to MYST autographed by it's creators, Rand and Robyn Miller.
"MYST has created a following unlike any other CD-Rom released to date. This trivia challenge will indeed challenge the most dedicated of MYST players," said InfoMedia's President, Joel Comm. The 50 questions will cover the full spectrum of MYST knowledge, referring not only to the actual game, but also to the novel MYST: A Book of Atrus, the technical creation of the game, and the personalities of the creators at CYAN Software. Ending on August 31, 1996, judges at InfoMedia, Inc. and Broderbund Software will determine the winners of the 50 plus prizes, which will also include MYST Novels, screen savers, posters, and soundtracks.
